bulthaup, the world-renowned German made kitchen cabinet brand, officially opened its newly remodeled showroom in Singapore on 19th February 2009.
The grand opening of the newly remodeled bulthaup showroom was attended by more about 70 distinguished guests, including local developers, designers and architects. Guests were treated to scrumptious canapés prepared by award-winning French restaurant, St Pierre. The restaurant's renowned Chef in Black, Emmanuel Stroobant, also showcased his creative flair in the live bulthaup b3 kitchen, whipping up delicious mushroom risotto for the guests to sample. Gracing the grand opening was Mr. Ben Yiu, Managing Director of the Madison Group of Companies, the sole distributor of bulthaup in Singapore, Hong Kong and China and Mr. Friederich Kleyboldt, bulthaup's Director of Sales, Asia, and Head of the Projects Department from bulthaup Germany.
Said Mr Ben Yiu, "Asia is a very important market for the bulthaup brand. We embarked on this remodeling project despite the current economic situation and are confident that the brand will be further differentiated from others, and our standing and position even stronger than before as a result. The new showroom in Singapore will also serve to communicate the bulthaup design philosophy more effectively to our customers.”
Reflecting the perfect integration of architectural beauty and modern yet timeless design, the remodeled showroom embodies the core fundamentals of the bulthaup philosophy. The showroom is visually divided into different zones and features various enhancements to the latest b3 kitchen system, while exemplifying how the bulthaup b3 system can serve as an extension of any living space. The core elements of the new showroom include a "live” kitchen area with a fully functional bulthaup b3 kitchen, two bulthaup b3 seamless stainless steel monoblocks, wall panel system, and an array of new front materials.
Guests who attended the opening not only chilled out to the scintillating music but were also able to enjoy the evening relaxing on cozy outdoor patio furniture sponsored by German outdoor furniture brand, Dedon.
